The purpose of the Toy Train Depot Foundation
PRESERVATION, RESTORATION, ACQUISITION, DISPLAY AND INTERPRETATION OF RAILROADS OF ALL SCALES AND GAUGES, INCLUDING 1:1, WITH A PARTICULAR EMPHISIS ON THE MINIATURE TRAIN COMPANY (MTC) PARK RIDE TRAINS AND THEIR PRESERVATION.
ACQUAINT VISITORS WITH THE RAILROAD HISTORY OF ALAMOGORDO AND NEW MEXICO USA, THE CLOUD CLIMBING ROUTE AND CURRENT UNION PACIFIC RAIL TRAFFIC ON THE GOLDEN STATE ROUTE (TUCUMCARI CUTOFF).
ENHANCE VISITORS RAILROAD EXPERIENCE WITH A RIDE ON VINTAGE "M.T.C." ,1/5 SCALE, 16" GAUGE, ALAMOGORDO/ALAMEDA NARROW GAUGE RAILWAY. PROVIDE CUSTOMERS WITH QUALITY MODEL RAILROAD HOBBY ITEMS AND SOUVENIERS.
